Wax Museum February 17th, 2017

On Friday, February 17th, HSAY celebrated Black History Month with our annual Wax Museum. Our Wax Museum is put on by our 3rd grade class to celebrate historical African Americans, such as Mohammed Ali, Florence Joyner, Nelson Mandela, Ruby Bridges, Barack and Michelle Obama, etc.
The students each picked a historical African American to research. Then they filled a display board with facts about that person, and wrote a speech to help share the information with other students, teachers, and families.
Congratulations to our 3rd graders for putting on a great show! We are so proud of the hard work they put into this project!
