On Wednesday, November 19, 2014 our Kindergarten classes were visited by Kim Moff. She came into our classrooms to share the story of the first Thanksgiving with our HSAY students. The students listened to a story and learned about what was eaten during the first Thanksgiving. The students also learned what the Native American taught the Pilgrims. The students then were able to plant the 3 sister seeds, Corn, Beans, and Pumpkins. As the Native Americans did at the first Thanksgiving; Mrs. Moff shared a treat of popcorn with our students.
