Our HSAY 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have been working for weeks on their science fair projects. With the help of their science teacher, Miss Polomsky, students researched, experimented, and presented their projects on May 14th. Topics included acidity in fruits, organic vs. non-organic, the effects of music on mental health, how to create a levitating orb, how yeast affects bread, etc.
Students presented their projects to a group of judges from the community. A special thank you to the Youngstown Police Department for coming out to help judge the projects!
Families were invited to a science fair family night so students could show off their projects to friends and family.
